When you become a mom at 41, it’s a blessing, a miracle and a bit of shock … especially when it’s your first pregnancy. My motto has always been the climb is better than the fall which basically means the build up is often better than the actual arrival or what comes thereafter. I’m not saying childbearing doesn’t have the same meaning when you become pregnant at 24 but, in a way, it’s that much more precious when it happens later in life. Whether your mind is setting on having children one day or not, it’s all still a wonder. And we all know there’s something magical about wonder.
Anyway, becoming a mom at 41 is a total blessing, but it doesn’t come without some surprises as well. This site is a place for us … hmmmm, older moms to come and share .. our laughs and our stresses and most of all our words of wisdom, because thanks to time on this planet … we have that.
